What Is A Lightworker

Lightworker is a term that is being heard more and more these days. It is a label and therefore when using this statement it can mean the ego becomes attached to it so it is important to keep in awareness that you are much more than any label or identity. However when we experience some type of life shift, it can be useful to have some type of road map. Later on we have no need for any map! So in short, a Lightworker simply means a person who is working actively to bring light to others. This light may come in the form of teaching, guiding, supporting, demonstrating and loving, which all lead to a heightened sense of awareness not only in the person receiving the light but also in the person giving the light. This positive divine interaction becomes a circuit of loving energy between the individuals experiencing it, which then spreads from one person to another causing a general rise in consciousness on the planet.

How is A Lightworker Connected to Consciousness?

The word consciousness means awareness and links to the the spirit of a person. It is the part of an individual that generally most people can not see because it is energy. It is sometimes called the aura. The aura surrounds a person and affects their whole being including their emotions, psychology, mind, physical body and so on. Within the consciousness there are different energy centres called charkas that open and close depending on how we respond to our external world. The energy centre named the heart charka is where a lightworker aims to function from continually.

The unconscious is the part of a being or the psyche that is unaware. Carl Jung calls this ” shadow”.The amount of consciousness that we have is normally tiny in comparison to what we hold in our unconscious. For this, Jung suggests, is the reason of life, the path of individuation. This means bringing as much of the unconscious into awareness or light as we can in any one lifetime. This process of individuation is taking a massive leap, because of the opportunities with Earth’s ascension, in this lifetime you have the possiblity to become fully enlightened and reach higher states of awareness above the material third dimensional confines.

Awake

An awakened lightworker chooses to lead a life that is connected to and led by the heart and is therefore aware of their divine energy, which allows them to become a channel or beacon of light to those that surround them. There are many lightworkers among us that have not yet awoken to who they are. Whatever stage you are at right now, you are an important soul who is being called from your sleep or your awareness to unite with us in the amazing events that are already unfolding within earth’s evolution. Now is the time to take back power that is rightfully yours.

The Lightworker Role

The focal role of the lightworker is both complex and simple depending on how you view it or from what perseption you are viewing. They will discover their own life path, and perhaps embrace a study of universal truths, which may be conscious or not, and finally they have the opportunity to introduce others to their spiritual path or the way of the heart. Lightworkers help people awaken by manifesting the way forward as an example in their own lives. This is not a judgement about the right or wrong way of living; it is simply a demonstration of a way of experiencing life that is possible to everyone. Lightworkers equally do not need to make a song and dance about their journey which can often be a very quiet and simple one. You no not need to be a healer or a spiritual guide to be a Lightworker, I meet the most caring and heart felt Lightworkers all the time who would never even consider they were a Lightworker, after all this is simply a term which for us can help us understand some very collective experiences, but it is not a requirement to be known as a Lightworker! Essentially Lightworkers tend to knowingly keep their heart open and they don’t shy away from the less abstract parts of human nature. They are in touch with limitless universal love.

This state of being brings inner peace, self love, loving relationships, and a deep sense of happiness, knowing and belonging. Because of the determination and adversity that is required to find this awareness in the world, many lightworkers suffer hardships and pain. This is because often they are required to push themselves beyond what they feel is comfortable in order to firstly achieve a healed life for themselves and then secondly to guide others to follow them if this becomes a calling, often achieved with a gift they have normally been given. A lightworker’s learning is never done as they are continually acting as a forerunner in experiences and then guiding others through what they have learnt.

Why do we Need Lightworkers?

Lightworkers may be directed to change their life in ways that at first don’t please them. This is because it is not always visible to see what will be of benefit to us initially and help does not always appear that way at first. Lightworkers can get directed to change their diet, lifestyle, career, relationships, home, location and pretty much anything that is not serving them or their purpose. I have known many lightworkers who have become sensitive to chemicals, certain foods and alcohol once they are on the path. This can be due to becoming a lighter frequency as you develop your conscious awareness and evolve to higher states of reality. This change in your frequency means you may not be able to tolerate certain foods or past times that you enjoyed previously. Remember if you change any part of your consciousness or inner life there will always follow an external physical change. Lightworkers are constantly re-shaping and co-creating their realities and the only one certainty is change.

Learning to live in a new reality is perhaps the biggest hurdle for the lightworker soul. The job of seeking truths and actively and consciously consenting to continual work on your evolution is the deepest commitment as this can feel that although you have an earthly physical life to live, nothing has a higher priority than your mission. Therein commence lessons in balance, juggling the life of matter and the life of energy, the life of physicality and the life of spirituality, the life of the living and life of the departed. A lightworker should not have to choose between love for themselves and their role as a beacon of light. This is a misconception that has followed many lightworkers from their previous incarnations in choosing vows of celibacy or lonely lives as spiritual teachers. In this life a lightworker can experience it all! The reason for the lightworker’s incarnation is crucial at this time and has been planned. A belief held globally by lightworkers is the idea that we all make a contract or blueprint before we enter the body or a new life either on the earth or wherever we may be heading. This contract is the plan of our life. We choose a personal growth lesson and normally a global growth lesson to continue our spirit’s process of evolution. Although we plan certain major junctures like our time of possible exit, people we will meet and opportunities we will have, once we are in our body we are operating with free will.

Currently on the earth right now there are millions of souls that have planned to come to be a lightworker and which have made agreement to use their gifts to help shift the global consciousness so we are all operating at the level of the heart charka. A lightworker once fully awakened hopes they can lead others out from their daydream and toward the higher reality of what it is to awaken to your true self. This self, sometimes termed the ego, will leave behind fear, blame, ignorance control and unhappiness.

Lightworkers Gifts

Lightworkers come with a wide range of gifts that aid them in their mission. Many are healers, using their hands and experience of consciousness, to make people and animals well not just physically but on all levels. Teachers are high among lightworkers due to their ability to guide others with their wisdom. Therapists and counsellors of all types work guiding people to their inner light in order to heal and pull back the façade of unhappiness. Writers, artists and musicians are where lightworkers dominate the spaces of communication and media with their ideas about this new evolution, spreading the news and making it available for others to see the deeper meaning. Lightworkers are in the film industry particularly due to its capacity to reach millions of people with their symbolic messages. Lightworkers are frequently found in the film industry. These lightworkers have a perchant to make films which reach out to others on a deep level and to tell stories that particularly correspond to what is going on behind the scenes on Earth. Films like the Matrix, Star Wars, and The Fifth Element are just some of the films that demonstrate the path of enlightenment that every human needs to make. They indicate too, that sources of authority are busily trying to fool us and hamper our awakening to the injustice of what is happening before our very eyes. Every story pretty much conveys the journey of awakening; the lightworker just uses their particular gift to help us see the messages that are everywhere.

Lightworkers and Psychic Ability

A large majority of lightworkers have strong psychic ability and are naturally gifted mediums. This is due to the strong connection they have to source. Many lightworkers find this gift on the road to finding their light and resuming their mission. Lightworkers can develop a close connection to working with the angels and become attuned to the guidance that they receive through the four channels of psychic ability. These are: Clairvoyance (sight), clairaudience (hearing), claircognizance (thoughts) and clairsentience (feeling), (for more information on these abilities see the page on God and Angels). For lightworkers the barrier between this world and the next is less evident which makes communication with deceased loved ones and other spirits easier. This is also another reason why lightworkers need to shield and clear themselves daily to protect their sensitive energies.

Lightworkers and Hyper-sensitivity

Lightworkers are massively sensitive due to their openness to the divine and their willingness to keep their heart open. They should not be afraid of letting in the light because anchoring the light on earth is the fundamental part of their job, but protecting themselves is important. Self care for a lightworker is essential if they don’t want to face burn out. Because the lightworker has a light that others are attracted to and a heart that wants to heal others they often give out their energy and heal others without even being aware. In some situations a lightworker may start to feel ill or very tired around others or particular people. This is a sign that they need to balance their energy. There should be no judgement on the other as we are all responsible for taking good care of ourselves and holding the belief that nothing can harm us is important. Daily meditation, protection and clearing are needed. There are many CD’s available that offer charka clearing exercises. In order to protect and shield yourself simply ask Archangel Michael to surround you in a cloak or bubble of white light. You can also use pink and green for extra healing. At any time where you feel a situation has drained you, ask Archangel Michael to cut any cords that may have attached from other people, you should ask him to protect the other person in this process sending healing light to both of you. Following this you may see images of people who had cords attached to you float away leaving you free. A Lightworkers Home

Millions of very bright lightworker spirits have bravely chosen to come into physical form and live through their human amnesia. Possibly lightworkers have not spent as many or if any lives on earth previously and because of this are still bravely finding their feet. Some have spent many thousands of lives on earth and are hugely connected to Earth’s history. We all come in different shapes and sizes and from different planets even! I have met many lightworkers, awake and sleeping, all with their own pain and difficulty but despite this everyone one of them displays a great faith, even if it is not fully realised.
